Why have you decided to step into design field? What inspires you and why?
I decided to start in the world of design when I discovered being a child, that I could convey my thoughts and creativity through paper and a pencil. From there, my life changed and I realised that I wanted to dedicate my life to bringing creative ideas and concepts to reality using design as the main tool.
My sources of inspiration are usually always other designers, but I also find sources of inspiration in more natural things like walking, enjoying an afternoon with my family and even chatting with other designers and colleagues.
How do you measure the success of your design?
The success of my designs are measured in the success of my clients, the success of the projects I am working on. It is that simple. My clients need my expertise and creativity to make their products a success.
What is your biggest challenge in design creation process?
Perhaps the greatest challenge when managing a design process is to be able to understand in depth the needs of the client, so that those needs can be solved, transformed and expressed through design. Naturally, not all clients are equal and all of them have different concepts regarding the same things. So I spend a lot of time listening and deeply understanding the client’s need.
What principles do you follow when creating attention grabbing design?
Among the most prominent principles that I manage to create a design that really attracts attention, we can find the simplicity and ease of interpretation. The design must communicate quickly, without much detour. So all my designs are always characterised by a simple structure to interpret by any person. From there I manage complementary elements such as illustrations, colors and shapes.
