Meet Paulina Müller, a polish girl living in Germany. She is a beginner UI/UX designer who has an eye for detail.

Why have you decided to step into design field? What inspires you and why?

I’ve always wanted to do something creative, which will also be related to technology. I think that web design as well as app design is a part of the future that is changing so fast that you will never get bored. You have the opportunity to constantly develop your skills and imagination, because trends are constantly changing.

I’m most inspired by the work of other talented people and the awareness that they have succeeded in the design field. I try to follow their footsteps and analyze their work.

How do you measure the success of your design?

I am quite new in the design field, so I don’t expect too much so far. I just do what I like and if someone likes it, that’s great, I always enjoy it.

However, I think that my works are quite good. I mean… It’s just the beginning. Of course, I am learning all the time and I hope that someday it will become my full job.

What is your biggest challenge in design creation process?

I think the biggest challenge is to make a design that is not only pretty, but also easy to use for the user. Always before I start a project, I analyze existing pages and write what I do not like about them, what I would change and then I try to use it in my work.

What principles do you follow when creating attention grabbing design?

I always try to make my projects minimalistic. They should also contain only the most necessary information. Nice pictures are also important because they attract the most attention. I also carefully choose colors, because each of them evokes different emotions.
